A tracker for rejections: pitches, proposals, applications. The goal is to collect as many as possible.
A few years ago I had a long conversation with a friend. We're both entrepreneurs, and we were talking about how to deal with rejection without letting it grind you down. The conclusion we landed on: stop measuring the outputs you can't control and start counting the inputs you can. The hours. The content you keep posting. The sales calls you keep making. The proposals you keep sending out.
The money hitting the bank account is a lagging indicator. The rejections are proof you're doing the work.
Recently we'd both been feeling that pressure again. So I turned the idea into an app and reframed it as a game. You're not tracking failure. You're building a score.
